Description

This forge is designed for those needing a bit bigger forge than the standard Atlas. The Atlas Plus forge has a 60% larger chamber. A tradeoff of a bigger chamber in exchange for slightly lower max temp. The Atlas Plus forge compared to the forges on Ebay/Amazon will get hotter, the insulation will last longer, it won't rust and it only uses $1 of propane per hour. It also has a swirling chamber. Multiple schools and some A.B.S. mastersmiths have them in their shops. The Atlas Plus forge is ready to use out of the box and will last longer than wool-based forges. The Atlas Plus forge gets more than hot enough to forge weld but you will need to use the fluxless method as Borax will damage the refractory.
